Wonderful hotel, with modern and beautiful facilities and so friendly and competent staff.
Restaurant : Price/quality ratio for the food is very (very) low. Poor choice for wines. Plate of cheese is good but miserable quantity : 4 tiny (minuscule) pieces of cheese. The other fruit desert was of sub-par (refrigerated) quality. Service is slow and complacent. It seems they don't care at all, well now we don't either. Not coming back.
I have been there dozens of times, and every year on our way to family in Germany. Best local cuisine ever. We always had a large beer 'Helles vom Fass', followed by Pork Medallions and pommes. And the view of the winding river (Saarschleife) is memorable. Will go back this summer.

Excellent place to be. Beautiful environment for hiking in the woods and along the river Saar. Lovely spa with swimming pool and sauna, and chairs to spend long hours reading a book. Best breakfast buffet you can find. Good diners. Friendly staff. We keep coming back.
Nice and clean hotel with an indoor pool. The hotel has a bit old german style. And they have very friendly staff. The place is in a walking distance from Saarschleife ceolf so you may stay there and enjoy sunrise from the nice view of the Saar reiver. The main bad thing that they do not have any air conditioning or fans. So in summer it is extremely hot. Even in the conference room. The restaurant is expensive and the food is well looking but not exceptional just fine. Small portions and they asked if we need more. However desert was amazing. I was on cpany trip but if I would alone I would not find it a value for money.
It is still the best hotel around. Keeping standards very high this is the place for you to go if you want to enjoy a beautifully located family run business, offering only the best of the local cuisine, prepared by kitchen masters. If you look for a place to stay for your hiking trip around the beautiful "Saarschleife", thats your place to go to. If you are looking for a place to stay during a business trip in the region, this is your place to go to. Luxemburg is only a thirty minute ride away from here by car, and its the only route to Luxemburg which is NOT suffering heavy traffic jam in the morning. If you plan to visit companies in Luxemburg, stay here, your morning will start relaxed.
For the vacationists, who rather stay in / around the hotel: the hotel has a nice spa area, sauna, treatments are offered, and you are enjoying beautiful nature the moment you step out the door.
Its family friendly, multilingual, perfectly located for vacation in the region, and perfectly located for business travelers who dont want to pay the crazy pricing of hotels in Luxemburg (which offer less, for a higher price).
You won't regret booking here, its the only place i can recommend around here. Enjoy!
Good restaurant I can only recommemd, they always have a new seasonal menu with new flavours. Nothing to have with other restaurants with classic dishes. Athmosphere is also super and the staff is very polite and quick like restaurants with stars
